Payroll HERB, accessible at https://herb.apcfss.in (or payroll.herb.apcfss.in), is a website launched by the Andhra Pradesh Centre for Financial System and Services to enhance services for government employees and pensioners.

The Andhra Pradesh Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS) classifies services broadly into Government to Government (G2G), Government to Citizen (G2C), Government to Employee (G2E), and Government to Business (G2B) categories within its framework. These categories encompass a wide range of services for the AP Government and its stakeholders.

Under the G2E services provided by CFMS:
(a) For Employees: Self-service functionalities enable the maintenance of employee information such as Name, Address, PAN, Aadhaar, etc. It also facilitates online creation of employee challans for loan repayments and other government-related payments.

(b) For Retirees: The services include challan payments/refunds through both manual and online payment gateway methods (Debit or Credit card/Net banking, etc.). Users can check challan/payment status, receive SMS updates and acknowledgments for payments or refunds, and experience an enhanced user interface compatible with mobile platforms.

HERB App for AP Employee Pay Slip

The APCFSS has created a user-friendly HERB App specifically for all Andhra Pradesh state government employees. This application offers a provision through which employees can access their personal information based on the services tailored to individual employee data.

Currently, the app provides services such as viewing and downloading pay slips, checking APGLI policy status (both Fresh/enhanced), loan status, and refund status. Additionally, employees have the capability to view their profiles through the app.

The HERB APCFSS app adds an extra layer of security with two-factor authentication for CFMS transactions, ensuring the protection of employee interests. You can easily download the HERB APCFSS app (Employee mobile app) from the Google Play Store.

After installing the app on your smartphone, open it and log in with your User ID (CFMS ID) and password. You’ll receive an OTP on your registered mobile number; enter it to complete the login.

To download your pay slip, tap on the pay slip icon on the home page. Choose the year and month from the options, then tap the green “Get” button. Your salary slip will be generated, allowing you to check personal details, earnings, deductions, net salary, and other information like PAN, GPF, and APGLI details.

To access the HERB Portal at https://herb.apcfss.in/ (or payroll.herb.apcfss.in), employees should log in using their CFMS credentials. If employees cannot recall their password, they have the option to click on “Forgot Password” and follow the steps to generate a new password. The system will then send the new password to their registered mobile number with CFMS.

Once logged in, employees can navigate to the Employee Dashboard and choose HR & Payroll. This action opens the Pay Slip download web application. On this webpage, they need to select their employee profile and enter the CFMS ID or Aadhar number in the specified fields. Afterward, click on the “Get OTP” button.

An OTP will be sent to their registered mobile number. Enter the OTP on the next webpage that appears. Now, choose the desired year and month from the dropdown menu, and the salary slip for that particular month will be generated.

How to download AP Employee Pay Slip 2024

To download the AP Employee Pay Slip for the year 2024, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official payroll website at https://payroll.herb.apcfss.in/ using your device browser.
2. Once on the official payroll website, click on the “Download Pay Slip” link on the home page.
3. This action will open the Employee/Pensioner Provisional Pay Slip Download web application on your device.
4. From the drop-down list, select “Regular” and click on the submit button.
5. On the new web page, enter the CFMS ID/HRMS ID in the designated field.
6. Click on the “Get OTP” button. Alternatively, for Aadhaar-based OTP, enter the employee Aadhaar number and click on “Get OTP.“
7. After clicking on the OTP button, the OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the received OTP in the field and click on the submit button.
8. Upon clicking on the submit button, the pay slip will be generated, and the download option will be enabled. Click on “Click Here to Download” to download the pay slip.
9. After clicking the button, your pay slip will be downloaded to your device. Print and preserve it for future reference.

How to Download AP Employee Pay Slips 2024 from cfms.ap.gov.in

• Visit the AP CFMS official website: https://cfms.ap.gov.in/
• Then official CFM web portal will appear in your device
• Locate the ‘Employee & Pensioner Services’ section on the home page.
• Click on the Employee Services Tab.
• Expand the link options, which include (a) My Payslip, (b) Income for the Year, and (c) My Loans.
• Choose the My Payslip link.
• A separate web page for downloading the AP Employee Payslip will open in a new tab.
• Enter your 7-digit employee ID in the provided box and click on ‘Get Details’.
• Your details, such as employee ID, name, and mobile number, will be displayed.
• Click on the ‘Send OTP’ button, and an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
